Inspired by the exhibition of Golden boy Gustav Klimt in the van Gogh museum, I made a modern painting of a woman with a golden background. This wonderful exhibition of Klimt and contemporaries/friends like Egon Schiele was great again. His use of color and imagination was fantastic. I have reproduced the drama from his paintings in my own way in the painting of this woman with a melancholy look. The painting comes into its own beautifully acrylic glass or aluminum, you have a real eye-catcher on the wall. Literally and figuratively. This painting was made with a drawing program on the computer. Well with a 'brush' with oil paint, only a brush that controls my i-pad. It is completely digitally created. Digital painting is not new, in 2013 there was already a major exhibition by David Hockney in Cologne with paintings he made on his i-pad. I started it myself in 2022. It adds something special to my previous works.
